When you lose matches it can cause damage to your shield - if your shield receives too much damage, you’ll either be docked from your win-meter or move down a rank. The more matches you win, the faster you rank up. When that win meter reaches 100%, you’ll move on to the next rank. In order to move up, you need to build a deck and face-off against other players in Ranked mode to fill up your win-meter by winning matches. There are 12 ranks in total, and each rank represents a different level of knowledge and expertise:īeginners typically range from rank 1 - 5, Intermediate players can range from rank 6 - 9 and Advanced players range from rank 10 - 12. The ranks are essentially the different levels of performance that a GU player can achieve. ![]() You can see your current rank and progress by opening the main 'Arena' tab in the launcher, and selecting the panel titled 'Ranked'. Don't worry, even if you don't win, you'll still earn experience points simply by playing and earn packs as you level up. They range from Rusted Bronze to Mythic and the higher your rank, the greater rewards you'll receive from 'Weekend Ranked Events' and 'Daily Play and Earn' (more below).
